The Underworld

As we enter into the Winter Solstice and the darkest days of the year, we want to focus on the idea of the underworld, and what that means to us. Stories like Persephone, The God of Wicca, the Egyptian walk through the afterlife, and others, have strong focus on this time of year as we make our way into the darkness and start to climb our way out to the light. So let us talk about what this time of year represents to us as we touch the longest nights of the year.
